"Miss Miye" Japanese Doll Exhibit at Morrill Hall For the first time in 25 years, the public has the opportunity to see "Miss Miye," the Japanese Friendship Doll, on exhibit at the University of Nebraska State Museum at Morrill Hall on the UNL city campus. The doll is on display from March 3 through May 5. The historic and beautiful doll, measuring 32 inches tall, is displayed with her interesting and decorative accessories. The doll first arrived in this country in 1927 as a gift to American children from the children of Japan intended to carry a message of goodwill.
