Student Information System to use NU ID The UNL Student Information System (SIS+) has begun using the eight digit NU ID number rather than the SSN as the primary student number. This change will affect both the on-line system and printed reports and documents. Degree Application Deadline Friday, June 24, is the deadline for applying for a degree to be received on August 13, 2005. A $25 non-refundable degree application fee must accompany the Application For Degree form. Applications are to be filed at the Graduation Services Office, 109 Canfield Administration Building. ************************************************************************* 3. NSave Backup/Restore Service Do you have a backup program in place to backup your important data files? If your computer had a hard drive crash or virus would you be able to recover your data? Information Services offers a backup/recovery service called NSave for a small monthly fee. The software is installed on the desktop and the backup/recoveries are done over a network connection. Retirement Reception - Dr. Darrell W. Nelson The University of Nebraska community is invited to attend a retirement reception in honor of Dr. Darrell W. Nelson, Dean of the Agricultural Research Division and Director of the Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station, on Friday, June 24, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the East Campus Union (Great Plains Room). After a distinguished career in research administration, Dr. Nelson will retire from the University of Nebraska on June 30. ************************************************************************* 6.
