Jupiter, the moon, and the summer sky Weather permitting, the UNL Student Observatory on the parking garage at 10th and T streets will be open on Friday, Aug. 4 from 8:30 to 11 p.m. for a free public viewing of Jupiter, the moon, and other objects. History of TV in Nebraska Subject of NET Television Special The transition from radio's spoken word to the visual images of television in the late 1940s and television's subsequent growth in Nebraska is the subject of a new NET Television special. Spanning two decades, "Don't Touch That Dial" explores the rich legacy - the drama, the personalities, the history - of how television came to Nebraska.
