Nebraska Maps and More Store relocating to Hardin Hall Nebraska Maps and More, the map and publication store of the School of Natural Resources, will be relocating. Formerly located in Nebraska Hall, the store will move to their new home in the recently renovated Hardin Hall at 33rd and Holdrege. Although the store will close for a few days to complete the move, customers can continue to shop on-line at the URL below. NSF PIRE Internal Competitions Announced The Office of Research and Graduate Studies has announced an internal competition to select NSF Partnerships for International Research and Education (PIRE) preproposals. UNL can submit three preliminary proposals. The NSF submission deadline for preliminary proposals is Oct. 30, and full proposals (by invitation only from NSF) is Feb. 28, 2007. "In the Wake of Catastrophe" documentary premieres at the Ross tonight UNL student journalists explore two horrific events: an Asian island tsunami that killed more than 35,000 and a Gulf Coast hurricane that ravaged a unique American city. To understand these two disasters - what they had in common and how they were different - the students traveled to Sri Lanka and New Orleans. Throughout the yearlong experience students questioned themselves and their role in the complex, interrelated world they will soon inherit.
