 7. New Federal Work-Study Procedure

Will you be hiring federal work-study employees for the 2006-07 academic
year? If so, there will be a new procedure regarding the federal
work-study authorization form. Previously, students would pick up a paper
authorization form from the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid for
each award period and give these forms to employers to verify eligibility
in the federal work-study program. New for 2006-07, the paper version of
the authorization form will be eliminated. Employers will now be able to
use a web-based tool(MyNulook) to verify work-study eligibility.
Implementation begins for the Fall 2006 semester. Look for more information
in July, along with training opportunities.
