Big 12 Faculty Fellowships The Big 12 Faculty Fellowship Program is intended to stimulate scholarly exchanges with Big 12 institutions. The program offers faculty the opportunity to travel to member institutions to collaborate on projects and research. Deadline for submitting proposals is June 1, 2006. Transportation Services Fuel Surcharge Due to the increased cost of fuel, effective May 1, Transportation Services will implement a rental vehicle variable rate fuel surcharge. The fuel surcharge will vary from $.01 to $.05 per mile, and is dependent on the vehicle class fuel efficiency or type of vehicle use. Based on the cost of fuel as of July 1, 2006, mileage rate increases in the range of $.01 to $.07 can be expected.
