Degree Application Deadline is June 23 Friday, June 23, is the deadline for applying for a degree to be received on Aug. 12. A $25 non-refundable fee must accompany the Application For Degree form. Applications are to be filed at the Graduation Services Office, 109 Canfield Administration Building. ************************************************************************* 2. Computer Store Summer Hours The UNL Computer Stores summer hours will be Monday-Friday, East Union - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 501 Bldg. and Nebraska Union - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program The nomination deadline for the Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program is Nov. 9. Institutions must grant a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or biochemistry and may make only one nomination annually. Nominees must hold a full-time tenure-track academic appointment and are normally expected to be within the first five years of their independent academic careers. The program focuses primarily on individual research accomplishments and promise, but evidence of excellence in teaching is also expected. National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipends The deadline for National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipends is Oct. 2 (NEH will start accepting applications electronically beginning Aug. 1). Each college and university in the United States and its jurisdictions may nominate two faculty members who teach full time.
