The Office of Research has announced that Layman Trust Funds are available
for awards for the summer of 2007 and the 2007-2008 academic year. The maximum
award is $10,000. Layman Awards are aimed at providing seed money for projects
that will enhance the grantee's ability to obtain external funding or produce
prominent scholarly work. The deadline for proposal submission is Jan. 17,

"Back to the Fuel of the Future: Exploring Ethanol's Lost History," will

Dr. Charles Kuszynski, director of the Flow Cytomery Core for the Nebraska

Ace serves, spikes and blocks abound as the top high school girls volleyball
teams in Nebraska take to the court to determine which is the best in the
state on "Nebraska High School Girls Volleyball Championships" airing live
across the state on Nov. 11 on NET1 Channel 12 and in high-definition on
NET-HD. The championship match-ups begin with the Class D-1 finals at 9:30
