Secure Connection Required for SIS+ Access SIS+ users will soon be required to use an SSL secure connection to access the student system. If you use SIS+ and are not already using QWS3271 Secure, you will need to download and install the new QWS3270 Secure terminal emulation software. Downloads are free and available at the URL below. Installation is painless and instructions are on the site. Users of the older non-secure version should convert as soon as possible. Wireless administrative users should convert immediately. UNSCN will disable all non-secure access to the student system on Feb. 18. New Mileage Reimbursement Rate Beginning Jan. 1, the mileage reimbursement rate will be $.485 per mile. Use this rate when submitting for reimbursement on business travel conducted on Jan. 1, 2007 and after. ************************************************************************* 4. UAAD Mitten Drive for People's City Mission New or gently used mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves in children's or adult sizes, or personal care products are being collected by UAAD. The items can be donated at three collection sites: 1) the UNOPA/UAAD joint meeting, 11:45 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Devaney Sports Center; 2) Jan. 2 to Feb. 1 in the Student Involvement Office, Room 200, Nebraska Union, or 3) Jan. 2 to Feb. 1 in the main lobby of the East Union (Union Crossing).
