An institutional summary of the 2007 National Survey of Student Engagement
(NSSE) results is now available at the link below. The institutional summary
discusses and explores UNL's score as compared to scores of peer institutions

 5. Transportation Services Vehicle Rental Rates
Fiscal year 2008-09 is the fourth year of Transportation Services' fleet
improvement project to utilize more fuel efficient vehicles that continue to
meet their customers' needs. Following evaluation of departmental vehicle
requests, projected vehicle replacement and associated acquisition costs, and
the requirement to cover escalating operational costs, vehicle rental rates
will be adjusted effective July 1. Daily rate increases for passenger
vehicles range from $1 to $3; mileage rates with a variable fuel surcharge
are unchanged. Vehicle coordinators for departments with monthly rental
vehicles should have received e-mail notifications with vehicle specific
rate changes. The July 1 standard rental rates are listed on Transportation
Services Web page. For questions or additional information call 472-2422.

 9. Battle for Haditha and My Brother is an Only Child Open at the Ross
* Battle for Haditha (June 27-July 3) - A narrative retelling of the real
life massacre of 24 men, women and children in Haditha, Iraq allegedly shot
by four U.S. Marines in retaliation for the death of a U.S. Marine killed by
a roadside bomb. The movie follows the story of the Marines of Kilo Company,
an Iraqi family, and the insurgents who plant the roadside bomb.
* My Brother is an Only Child (June 27-July 3) - Set in a small Italian town
in the 60's and 70's, the film tells the story of two brothers who want to
change the world-but in completely different ways. The elder, Manrico
(Riccardo Scarmaccio), is a handsome, charismatic firebrand who becomes the
prime mover in the local Communist party. Accio, (Elio Germano) the younger,
more rebellious brother, finds his own contrarian voice by joining the
reactionary Fascists.
* Ending Thursday: The Visitor, Chop Shop, and Shotgun Stories.
