Severe Weather Awareness Week UNL will join Lincoln/Lancaster County Emergency Management in testing all tornado-warning systems at 10:15 a.m. April 8. UNL's tornado warning system is generally tested the first Wednesday of every month. For April only, this test will occur during the second week, in conjunction with Severe Weather Awareness Week. The tornado posters on campus are in the process of being redesigned. All building posters will need to be replaced. Fill the Fountain Food Drive March 30 to April 3 The University Health Center Student Advisory Board is coordinating a "Fill the Fountain" food drive to be held the week of March 30 to April 3 at the Nebraska Union near the Broyhill Fountain. Non-perishable food items and personal care items will be collected from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day with all proceeds going to the Food Bank of Lincoln. Burrito Bike Rides - UNL Campus Recreation Join Campus Recreation's Outdoor Adventure for an evening group bike ride on Lincoln's extensive trails topped off by a stop at a local park for some outdoor games and a feast of gigantic burritos, courtesy of Chipotle Mexican Grill. Three dates are available: March 30; April 7 and April 15. They will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $10 for UNL students and CREC members; $15 for the general public. Yoga Kids - UNL Campus Recreation UNL Campus Recreation announces the addition of the new Yoga Kids classes Yoga Kids, for girls and boys ages 6-14 years, will teach skills to help them grow physically, emotionally, and mentally. Classes will meet on Wednesdays from April 8 to May 13 at the East Campus Activities Building at the following times: 3:15 to 4 p.m. for ages 6-10; 4 to 4:45 p.m. for ages 11-14. They will change the oil and spark plug, sharpen blades, and pressure clean it. The pharmacy installed an automated phone system which will allow you to phone in your refill or you can go on-line to order a refill.
