The Doc Sadler Basketball Camps will be conducted this summer during the
months of June and July. There will be numerous camps for boys and girls

 2. Openings in Half Day Classes at Ruth Staples Child Development Lab
The Ruth Staples Child Development Laboratory is a nationally accredited
program offering early care and education services for children 2 1/2 to 5
years. They are located on East Campus. Currently, there are openings in
their Half Day Program. Classes begin Aug. 24 and run Monday-Friday from
7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. following the academic calendar. If you are
interested in learning more about the program, call 472-1675.

 3. Natural Fertilizer Compost for Sale
Natural Fertilizer compost is for sale from Animal Science. Priced at $2
per bag, it is packed in 1 cubic foot heat sealed polyethylene bags.
Natural Fertilizer is an excellent soil conditioner and fertilizer (N-P-K
is minimum 1-2-1) for use on flower beds, gardens and lawns. It is easy to

Daryl Travnicek is retiring from the Department of Statistics on June 1.
Join the department from 1 to 3 p.m. May 28 in 354A Hardin Hall, East
Campus, as they thank him for his service of 13 years and wish him well.

10. School of Music Events: May 26 to June 1
* May 27, 3 p.m., the School of Music and the Musical Art Club of Lincoln
will host a ceremony celebrating the Hilde Haggh Memorial Donations to the
UNL Music Library in the Raymond H. Haggh Reading Room in the Westbrook
Music Building Library. This event is free and open to the public.
* Nebraska Show Choir Camp begins June 7 and runs through June 13.

* One Day You'll Understand (May 29-June 11) - An intimate drama about a
man who endeavors to collect memories of his grandparents who died in a
concentration camp during the Holocaust. Adapted from Jerome Clement's
autobiographical novel by Israeli filmmaker Amos Gitai.
* Examined Life (May 29-June 4) - In Examined Life, filmmaker Astra Taylor
accompanies some of today's most influential thinkers on a series of
unique excursions through places and spaces that hold particular resonance
for them and their ideas.
