 2. End of Semester Book Drive
Have old books around? Can't sell back your textbooks? Donate them to the
Better World Books Drive for literacy. Look for green bins around campus
and place your old books inside from Dec. 7 to 18. The Graduate Student
Association will collect them and send them to literacy programs around
the world.

 3. Examination Services - Final Exam Scoring
Fall Semester final exam week is Dec. 14-18. First time users should call
472-2097 for scheduling information. Questions regarding finals call or

Dec. 22 due to the UNL Holiday closedown. Regular office hours will resume
Jan. 4.

Learn more about the Holland Computing Center's high performance computing

locations on two dates, at PKI in Omaha on from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 9, and

11. Free Political Advocacy Workshop to be held Dec. 4
Join UNL's political science honor society and Student Involvement for a
political advocacy workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4 in the Nebraska
Union. Presenters are from Servicemembers United, a non-profit
non-partisan D.C. organization. The three one-hour sessions are on
grassroots advocacy, political lobbying, and how Servicemembers United has

20. "Holiday Music Magic" starts at Mueller Planetarium Nov. 28
From Nov. 28 to Jan. 10, Mueller Planetarium will feature "Holiday Music
Magic: The Fulldome Experience," a new show that features 3-D artistic
animation set to a variety of holiday music classics. It will be shown
Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 and 3 p.m. For those
who want an astronomy show, an introduction to the current night sky and
the fulldome feature "Touching the Universe" will be presented Saturdays
at 1 p.m. Admission (includes exhibits): $3 with valid NU ID; general: $8
