Research Interests

My interests are in the general area of computational mechanics and include: Meshless methods, shape and material optimization of solids, functionally graded materials, inverse and ill-posed problems, numerical methods for multiscale and multifield problems. Tools from applied mathematics and numerical analysis are used in conjunction with continuum mechanics and physics models to construct methods for solving challenging problems of design optimization.
