The Engineering Mechanics Instructional Laboratory

The Engineering Mechanics Instructional Laboratory (EMIL) is closed for the Summer!

It will open for tutoring on Tuesday, September 5. We have moved the EMIL to the second floor of Nebraska Hall, in the study area in the northwest corner (opposite the Engineering Library).

Tutors for the following ENGM courses will be available to help students at scheduled times Monday through Thursday and on Sunday evenings:

ENGM 220 Statics

ENGM 324 Strength of Materials

ENGM 223 Engineering Statics

ENGM 325 Mechanics of Elastic Bodies

ENGM 373 Engineering Dynamics

The lab will open on Tuesday, September 5 and be closed on the following dates in Fall 2006:

Sunday through Monday, September 3 - 4, for Labor Day weekend.
Sunday through Tuesday, October 15 -17, for Fall Semester Break.
Wednesday through Sunday, November 22 - 26, for Thanksgiving Vacation.

Thursday, December 7 will be the last day for lab operation for the Fall 2006 semester.
