Search Committee Training

A Search Committee may not meet to review application materials until every member of the committee has been Search Committee certified. To become certified, first-time Search Committee members must attend Search Committee Orientation. Certification expires after two years. To retain certification, you must attend a Search Committee Update. If four or more years pass without attending an Update, you must attend an Orientation to regain certification. We offer three registration options: SAPPHIRE, email or phone (402-472-3417). Registration is strongly encouraged to attend a training. We reserve the right to cancel a training due to low enrollment. If you would like to attend a training, but have not signed up, please call our office prior to attending to find out if the session will be held. The Nebraska Unions are not responsible for posting cancellations. Room postings can be found on the Nebraska Unions webpage on the day of the training.
