Vazquez is a sophomore at UNL with majors in English, Spanish, and Film Studies, originally from Crete, NE— a small town close to Lincoln. She hopes to see younger students and applicants take school seriously, of course, but also strive for balance in academics and personal fulfillment at college. Huerta a sophomore English major from Irving, Texas. She is also minoring in French, Education, and Math. When she's not busy with school, she likes to read, hang out with friends, and watch reruns of Friends and New Girl. After surviving her first year of college, Huerta believes that organization and perseverance are key, regardless of the nature of one’s task. No matter how daunting they may seem, every undertaking can be broken down into manageable steps.
