2009
Monday, August 24 - First Semester Classes begin
September 11 - CAMPUS DEADLINE: Fulbright. All application materials should be submitted to the Office of International Affairs by this date. Students should have spoken with Laura Damuth prior to the 9/11 submission. National Deadling: mid-October. Should also have registered on the Fulbright website.
October 1 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Marshall*
October 5 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Rhodes*
October 5 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Mitchell*
October 15 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Gates-Cambridge*
October 15 - Preliminary Application Due (fillable pdf): Goldwater, Truman, Udall
Early November - National deadlines for the NSF Graduate Fellowship
November 10 - National deadline for the Churchill scholarship
November 15 - Campus deadline for the undergraduate Goldwater, Truman, and Udall Scholarships

- US Department of Homeland Security scholarship
- National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship
January 29 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Goldwater
February2- NATIONAL DEADLINE: Truman
February 12 - UCARE applications due for the 2010-11 academic year
March 3 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Udall
April 15 - Preliminary Application Due (fillable pdf): Rhodes, Marshall, Churchill, Mitchell, Gate Cambridge for next academic year
