Students should speak with Dr. Laura Damuth, UNL Fellowship Advisor well in advance of the National Deadlines.
2011
September 9 - CAMPUS DEADLINE: Fulbright. All application materials should be submitted to the Office of International Affairs by this date. Students should have spoken with Laura Damuth prior to the 9/9 submission. National Deadline: mid-October. Should also have registered on the Fulbright website.
October 3 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Marshall*
October 5 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Rhodes*
October 4 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Mitchell*
October 15 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Gates-Cambridge*
November 1 - Students interested in the Boren Scholarship should indicuate their interest by speaking with Dr. Damuth or Christa Joy
Early November - National deadlines for the NSF Graduate Fellowship
November 8 - National deadline for the Churchill scholarship*
* Should have spoken with Dr. Damuth by April 15 of the previous academic year.
2012
Early January
- US Department of Homeland Security scholarship
- National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship
Late January- NATIONAL DEADLINE: Goldwater
February 7- NATIONAL DEADLINE: Truman
February 10 - UCARE applications due for the 2012-13 academic year
March 2 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Udall
April 15 -Rhodes, Marshall, Churchill, Mitchell, Gate Cambridge for next academic year
