Students should speak with Dr. Laura Damuth, UNL Fellowship Advisor well in advance of the National Deadlines.
2012
September 7 - CAMPUS DEADLINE: Fulbright
An online application should be completed and all application materials should be submitted to the Fellowships Office (118 Neihardt) by this date. Students should have spoken with Laura Damuth prior to the 9/7 submission. Final office deadline: Oct. 12; National deadline: Oct. 17, 2012.
October 1 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Marshall*
October 2 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Mitchell*
October 2- NATIONAL DEADLINE: GILMAN (for Spring Study Abroad)
October 3 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Rhodes*
October 15 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Gates-Cambridge*
November 1 - Campus Deadlines for the following Spring applications: Truman, Goldwater, Boren, Udall
Mid- November - National deadlines for the NSF Graduate Fellowship
Mid-November - National deadline for the Critical Language Scholarship
November 13 - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Churchill scholarship*
* Should have spoken with Dr. Damuth by April 30 of the previous academic year.
2013
Early January
Late January- NATIONAL DEADLINE: Goldwater
February 5- NATIONAL DEADLINE: Truman
February 13- NATIONAL DEADLINE: NSEP BOREN
March - NATIONAL DEADLINE: Udall
April 30 -Rhodes, Marshall, Churchill, Mitchell, Gate Cambridge for next academic year. Students need to indicate by this date their intention to apply.
