UNL is a top producer of student Fulbrights!

 

The Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program, recently announced the complete list of colleges and universities that produced the most 2011-2012 U.S. Fulbright Students.  The success of the top-producing institutions is highlighted in the October 24 edition of The Chronicle of Higher Education.

2011 Fulbright Scholars- In the 2010-11 scholarship competition cycle, UNL submitted the highest number of Fulbright applications in the history of the University (34) with students receiving nine Fulbright scholarship awards - a record number for UNL!

Harry S. Truman Scholarship -

In the same year that UNL was named a Truman Honors Institution, a UNL student received a Truman scholarship. It is the first time UNL has had a Truman scholarship winner two years in a row.
