Charles O’Connor is the Hixson-Lied Endowed Dean of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He returns to Lincoln after nine years, having started in 1993 as a faculty member in the Department of Theatre Arts, now the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film.

Christin J. Mamiya, Hixson-Lied Professor of Art History, has held the position of Associate Dean since 2009, with the exception of the year in which she served as Interim Dean. Mamiya received her B.A. from Yale University, and her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from UCLA. She has been a faculty member in the Department of Art and Art History since 1987.

Dr. Garelick is Professor of English in the College of Arts and Sciences with a special joint appointment in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts. She is a scholar of theater, dance, fashion and cultural politics. She is the author of "Rising Star" (Princeton University Press, 1998-winner of the Kayden Award for outstanding manuscript in the Humanities) and "Electric Salome: Loie Fuller's Performance of Modernism" (Princeton University Press, 2007).
