Matthew Boring

Matthew Boring has been on the Lied Center for Performing Arts staff since 2011 and currently serves as Associate Director — Marketing & Patron Development where he leads integrated marketing and development campaigns. After graduating with a degree in music (trumpet) from the Hixson-Lied College, he worked at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. as a member of their Corporate & Foundation Relations team before returning to Lincoln to join the Lied Center staff.

Rebekah Hoke Brown

Rebekah Hoke Brown received her bachelor's degree in art history from Brigham Young University with a minor in Scandinavian Studies and her master’s degree in art history from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Rebekah has worked in several museums in Texas, Utah, and Denmark, and most recently at Sheldon Museum of Art in Lincoln.

Amanda Christi

Amanda Christi

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film in 2009 with an emphasis in Film and New Media. She started her professional career at Outpost12 Studios in Lincoln where she directed more than 75 commercials, corporate videos and narrative shorts.

Lindsey Clausen

Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the UNL School of Art, Art History & Design in 2012 with an emphasis in ceramics and sculpture. She started her professional career at LUX Center for the Arts in Lincoln where she worked to uplift communities through facilitating the creation of public art and hands-on art experiences. Her work with the LUX won a Mayor’s Arts Award in 2021. In 2023, Lindsey founded Archway Studios, a workspace for artists at the heart of the UNI Place Creative District.

Adrienne Dickson

Adrienne received her B.F.A in Music Theatre from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1994) and her M.M. in Opera Performance from The Boston Conservatory (1997). Currently, she is pursuing a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance at UNL under the direction of Donna Harler-Smith and was a 2004-2005 Fling Fellowship Scholar as well as a 2004-2005 P.E.O Scholar Award winner. As a mezzo soprano solo artist, some of her operatic roles include Madame Lidoine in "Dialogues of the Carmelites," Marcellina in "The Marriage of Figaro," Augusta and Mamma McCourt

Nancy Heiser

Nancy Nordstrom Heiser is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Having received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Education in 1976, she taught art in the Omaha Public Schools, the Kansas City Public Schools, and the Nelson-Adkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a practicing artist and a community volunteer. Abby Miller (B.A. Theatre 2002) lives in Los Angeles. She most recently starred in the Apple TV+ original series “Home Before Dark.” Prior to this, Abby appeared on “The Sinner” opposite Bill Pullman and in the ground breaking FX original series “Justified” as Ellen May.

Other TV credits include: “Florida Man,” “Aquarius,” “Magicians,” “Imposters,” “Station 19,” “Snowfall,” “The Real O’Neals,” “The Catch,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Law and Order SVU” and “Mad Men.”

Eric Moyer

Eric Moyer

Eric Moyer is an actor, marketer and property developer who calls Lincoln, Nebraska, home.  After graduating from the College of Fine and Performing Arts with a bachelor’s degree in theater, Eric moved to Los Angeles where he earned a number of bit parts in both film and television. Eric returned to Nebraska in 2006 to pursue a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communication and Advertising; not long after, he rekindled his love of acting appearing in a number of locally produced film projects.

Dr. Lance Nielsen

Lance Nielsen

Dr. Lance D. Nielsen is the Supervisor of Music for Lincoln Public Schools where he supervises all music programs K–12. Prior to becoming an administrator, he taught for 23 years in both public schools and higher education. His teaching appointments included Associate Professor of Music at Doane University, music teacher at Lincoln East High School, Norris Public Schools, and Kimball Public Schools in Nebraska. He continues to serve as an adjunct professor for Doane University teaching online music courses.

Aaron Nix

Aaron Nix

Aaron earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in film and new media from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film in 2009. He then earned his Master of Fine Arts in Film Production from the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts in 2011.

He currently serves as an assistant professor of art at Concordia University, Nebraska in Seward, where he leads courses in film production, film criticism, digital media, and photography.

Barb Schmit

Barb Schmit earned a Bachelor of Music Education in 1993 and a Master of Music in 1997 from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She plays trumpet in the Lincoln Municipal Band, Nebraska Trumpet Ensemble, Monday Night Big Band and other area ensembles and works at the University of Nebraska Foundation. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Lincoln Musicians Association and Nebraska Trumpet Ensemble.
