Lincoln, Neb. - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Music proudly announces that UNL Opera, under the direction of Dr. William Shomos, Professor of Voice and Director of Opera, will be on the road performingOpera Scenes, Tuesday, April 27 at 7:30 pm at The Tassel Performing Arts Center, 1324 Tilden, Holdrege, NE.
Opera Scenes will be performed by students and faculty and will include selected scenes that are not costumed or staged from such well-known works as La Traviata (Verdi), Don Giovanni (Mozart), The Bartered Bride (Smetana), Carmen (Bizet), Rigoletto (Verdi), William Tell (Rossini), Our Town (Rorem),The Pearlfishers (Bizet), Rusalka (Dvorak), and Candide (Bernstein).
