Lincoln, Neb. - The UNL Clay Club and the Lincoln Print Group will each host their respective sales on Friday, April 29th from 9am to 6pm and Saturday, April 30th from 9am to 4pm. Sales will be held in Richards Hall in rooms 118 and 121 on the UNL city campus.
The sales will include works of art created by graduate students, undergraduate students, alumni, and faculty. Both sales represent a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.
In addition to the sales, there will be raffles of work donated by students, faculty, and alumni. Tickets for the raffles can be purchased on Friday or Saturday. The drawings will be held at 4pm on Saturday; need not be present to win.
The UNL Clay Club and the Lincoln Print Group each use a portion of the proceeds from their sales to fund visiting artist programs, which invite nationally recognized artists and critics to deliver lectures and workshops that are free and open to the public. Proceeds from the sales are also used to facilitate student attendance at annual professional conferences.
