Released: March 30, 2011
Lincoln, Neb. - Friends of The Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center (MRRMAC), commonly referred to as The Ross, has launched a campaign for new and renewing members that includes a chance to win two free passes to movies at The Ross for a year. The campaign runs until April 29.

Anyone joining at the Film Buff ($100) level or higher will be entered in a drawing to win the year-long free passes. Those "stepping up" their previous membership to a higher level will also be eligible for the drawing.
Membership benefits include $2.50 off the price of admission for an evening movie, a punch card that rewards frequent mover-goers with free popcorn and a free movie, as well as invitations to special events hosted by The Ross. Members can select a level of membership support that suits every budget, starting at $45.
Membership levels qualifying for the "stepping up" promotion include Director: $175; Producer: $350; Movie Mogul: $550; Executive Producer: $1000 and up.
The 800-plus members of The Friends of The Ross support MRRMAC through direct financial gifts for operating costs, equipment needs, and special programs. Partial funding from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln was recently subject to a reduction as part of the overall belt-tightening undertaken by UNL making private support for The Ross more important than ever.
