Lincoln, Neb. - The Department of Art and Art History is sponsoring the Nebraska National Collegiate Juried Art Exhibition to feature the work of the best undergraduate student artists from across the country.

Submissions in ceramics, photography and printmaking are being accepted through May 31 at https://unlart.slideroom.com. The entry fee is $10.
The Nebraska National is open to undergraduate students, including those who receive their undergraduate degree in the spring or summer of 2012.
The exhibition will take place Sept. 7-28 in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. An opening reception will be held on Sept. 7, time to be announced.
Dan and Barbara Howard Awards of $1,000 each will be presented to the Best of Show Ceramics, Best of Show Printmaking and Best of Show Photography. A Best of Show Overall prize of $1,500 will also be awarded.
Jurors for the exhibition include Sam Chung in ceramics, who is an Assistant Professor in the Herberger College of the Arts-School of Art at Arizona State University; Carol Panaro-Smith and James Hajicek in photography, who own Alchemy Studio that produces fine arts photography and workshops in the arts; and David Morrison in printmaking, who is Professor of Printmaking at Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis.
