DOUG ROSS RETROSPECTIVE OPENS JANUARY 10TH AT EISENTRAGER-HOWARD GALLERY

Lincoln, Neb.--"Doug Ross Retrospective:  Painting, Sculpture and Drawing" opens January 10, 2005, at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall on the UNL city campus. The exhibition continues through February 4. An opening reception will be held Friday, January 14, from 5-7pm in the Gallery.

Ross is a UNL Professor Emeritus of drawing and sculpture. He started his UNL career in 1966 and retired in 1998. He received his Bachelor of Art in history from Carleton College in Minnesota. He also attended the Minneapolis School of Art and received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota.

Ross has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the country and in England. His collections include Prudential-Bache Securities in New York City; Peat, Marwick, Main in Omaha; and McDonald's Corporation in Chicago.

Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, noon to 4pm.
