Project Amaranthus albus focused on the collection, tagging, numbering, photographing, cataloging, comparing, display and release of 100 tumbleweeds from Arizona.

By bringing together the disparate subjects of Taxonomy, Museum Display and Mythology of the American West, Project amaranthus albus raises questions about the intersection of these topics at the end of the 20th century.
