From Our President
Dear UNL Women's Club,
Greetings and best wishes for a wonderful new year. I hope you enjoyed the holiday gatherings with family and friends.
After the busy months preceding it, January is such a peaceful time. I love nothing more than to sit with a cup of my favorite tea and consider the year to come.
We have some interesting events in store for you as we look forward to spending time together.
In February, we meet in the Heritage Room of the Bennett Martin Public Library for a program on Nebraska authors presented by Curator Meredith McGowan.
In March, we meet at the Cornhusker Bank for a program presented by Sylvana Airan titled "Growing Up Christian in Pakistan."
Both of these programs will be very interesting.
Then in April, we celebrate the arrival of spring with our popular annual event, the Spring Luncheon, promising an entertaining style show.
So, there you have it! Check through this newsletter for details and be sure to mark your calendars to join us.
Thank you for the honor of serving as your president this year. The wonderful, long-term friendships I've made as a member of UNL Women's Club are very dear to me.
Our members are amazing, talented women from all walks of life who, through activities of our club, support and enrich each other. I salute you.
Respectfully yours,
Vicki Hoffmann
UNL FWC President
