Pi Chapter's Philanthropy Program includes:

• French Toast Feed - Pi Chapter's annual spring philanthropy benefiting Camp Fire, USA. In 2007, Pi Chapter raised $4,455, and sold over 1500 tickets.

• Do It Sober - An all Greek event co-sponsored with the men of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. The program includes a week dedicated to campus-wide alcohol awareness & education.

• Purple Ribbon Campaign - An annual program to raise awareness about drinking and driving. Begun in 1998, the campaign is in honor of Gamma Phi Beta member Laura Cockson, who was killed by a drunk driver. Members distribute purple ribbons campus wide, and these ribbons represent a pledge to never drink and drive or ride with someone who has been drinking.

• Fall Gamma Phi Beta Sponsored Philanthropy - Past events have included campfires and barbeques prior to a Husker football game. This year, the women of Gamma Phi will be participating in Safe Quarters, a Lincoln wide change drive to benefit The Friendship Home, a shelter for abused women and children.

• Service Projects - These various projects have included making May Day baskets for the girls at Heritage Christian Home for Girls, decorating cards for Camp Fire USA campers, making cards for juvenile diabetes patients and participating in campus-wide philanthropies such as the Big Event, a one day service project for the Lincoln community.

• Volunteer Hours - Pi Chapter members are volunteers in the Lincoln community. Members serve as Big Brother/Big Sister mentors, coach in the Lincoln Public School system, are after school mentors and more.

The women of Gamma Phi Beta also participate in and support other organizations' philanthropies. This provides use with yet another opportunity to contribute to our campus and community. In addition, Gamma Phis are active participants in non-Greek philanthropies such as Dance Marathon and Relay For Life.
