Activities
The women who make up Pi Chapter share a special bond... a bond created through friendship, support, guidance, trust, compassion, and respect. We celebrate our sisterhood each and every day through recognition and events. Additionally, our sisterhood retreats help us to reflect on our experiences in Gamma Phi Beta. Some of our sisterhood activities include:
Crescent Values Program |
A program that provides an opportunity to review the defining principles of Gamma Phi Beta. |
Crescent Kudos |
Short notes read during Monday night meeting to share thanks and laughter. |
Phire-Up Shirts |
An individual award given to a sister that helps Phire-Up those around her. |
Grover |
A funniest folly award given weekly. |
Alumnae Babysitting |
Local alumnae are invited to bring their children to the house for a night of free babysitting. |
Volunteering at Big Event |
The Big Event is a campus-wide service day. This past year we helped at the Children's Zoo |
Officer of the Week Award |
Recognition of an officer who does an outstanding job of serving Gamma Phi. |
Get to Know Your Sister |
Facts and information about sisters posted on a bulletin board in our home. |
Alumnae Trick-or-Treat |
During Halloween week, alumnae bring their children to the house for activities and trick-or-treating. |
Themed Socials |
Various social events are held in the fall and spring. Members find fun costumes, get ready together, and attend the event. Some of our past socials have included the following themes: Dynamic Duos, Wedding Party, $5 Prom, and Halloween costumes. |
Formal Dances |
Each semester, we host a formal dance with one or more other Greek houses. The evening includes dressing up, dining out and dancing. |
