International Seminar on the History of the Atlantic WorldThe International Seminar on the History of the Atlantic World at Harvard University announces the availability of short-term grants to support archival research focused on the common, comparative, and interactive aspects of the lives of the peoples of the Atlantic world, 1500–1825. Mercurians' Pam Laird Research GrantThe Mercurians, a special interest group of the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT), offers a $1,000 grant to support archival research by a junior scholar in the field of the history of communication technologies (defined broadly).
