Student Spotlight: Curtis Walker, NSF Graduate Research Fellow

A master’s candidate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Curtis Walker is working to accurately forecast road pavement temperatures, with the goal of developing new technologies to reduce the number of vehicular crashes and fatalities in dangerous driving conditions. Now at home in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, how Curtis came to UNL is a story worth telling.
