Admission as a Non-Degree, Visiting Graduate Student
Admission as a non-degree visiting graduate student is available to applicants who are actively pursuing graduate studies at another institution in the U.S. or abroad.
This type of admission allows students at other schools to take a few courses at UNL while completing their degree programs elsewhere. For example, an MS student at a university in Kansas may want to take one semester of courses at UNL and then finish the MS in Kansas.
To apply as a visiting student, submit the following to Graduate Admissions:
$45 non-refundable application processing fee
Letter of good standing from your faculty advisor, graduate college, or registrar
| Mail letter to: |
Office of Graduate Studies University of Nebraska-Lincoln 1100 Seaton Hall Lincoln NE 68588-0619 |
Enrollment in this admission category is limited to two terms (semesters and/or a full summer).
Graduate students from other campuses of the University of Nebraska (UNO, UNMC and UNK) should seek an Intercampus admission, rather than a Visiting admission. These students will register for courses at UNL and retain their admission at their degree-objective campus.
