Application Processing Fee
A non-refundable application processing fee of $45.00 (U.S. currency) is required of every applicant in order for requests for admission to be considered.
Some returning students are exempt from this fee. To see if you may be exempt, use our interactive fee rules.
We accept payment in various forms:
Credit card. To ensure secure and prompt processing service, choose the credit card option on the online application. Our server is secure and your payment information will be protected.
Check or money order. As an alternative to credit cards, fees may be paid in U.S. dollars with a check drawn on a U.S. bank or with a money order. Make checks payable to "University of Nebraska-Lincoln."
Cash. We can accept cash payments from people who come to the Graduate Studies office. Please do not send cash by mail.
If you send your payment by mail, or if a friend or relative pays your fee for you, make sure that your identifying information is enclosed with the payment. Include your full name (as you wrote it on your application), your birthdate, your e-mail address, and your NU ID number. That information will help us to match your payment to your application.
