Description

The Master of Legal Studies (M.L.S.) degree program is designed for individuals who are not interested in practicing law, but who want to develop a better understanding of the legal system. The program provides a solid foundation in legal analysis and research, allowing students to explore the areas of law most relevant to their non-legal careers. It must be emphasized that an M.L.S. degree is not a substitute for a Juris Doctorate (the degree that should be sought by students interested in practicing law).

Located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's East Campus, the College of Law offers the best in modern facilities, including the largest law library in the state, well-designed classrooms, and comfortable student lounges. The College of Law also has a broad curriculum that complements the diverse interests of its student body.
