Visiting Campus

A campus visit helps you find a place that fits you.

Meet future colleagues and professors and learn more about how our supportive campus environment will meet your academic and personal needs.

Our recommendations below will help you make the most of your visit.

Part 1: Your department

Start by contacting your department of interest to request an appointment. Try to schedule time with faculty in your area of interest first because of their varied time commitments for teaching and advising.

Department faculty members are the best source of information regarding programs of study, curriculum, and what the admissions committee is looking for in an applicant.

You may also request to meet with current graduate students since they can be another great source of information.

Note: Some departments reserve visits for students who have applied or been admitted to their program.

Parts 2 & 3: Graduate Studies & campus tour
