Collaboration

A culture of collaboration permeates the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Thirty interdisciplinary research centers exist on campus allowing for comprehensive research, ranging from Great Plains Study to Life Sciences.

The Center for Digital Research in the Humanities combines the talents of Nebraska Libraries with the College of Arts and Sciences. This collaborative effort has brought about high profile projects, such as the redesign for the Walt Whitman Archive.

Nebraska also serves as the lead institution for the NSF-funded Antarctic Drilling Program, conducting critical research and expanding K-12 educator training to better understand paleoenvironmental changes and what this means for future climate change. This multinational collaboration includes more than 200 scientists, students, and educators.

Other interdisciplinary centers include:

Graduate student research and creative activity are celebrated during the annual Research Fair which highlights campus-wide contributions to innovative research. The Graduate Poster Session allows students to receive feedback from faculty and peers, and to explore the exciting research being done across campus. Students also attend workshops and mingle with advisors from NSF, NIH, NEH and more.
