University of Nebraska-Lincoln Greek Getaway 2013
June 20 & 21st
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is proud to present the first annual Greek Getaway. The event will be hosted by the Inter Fraternal Council (IFC) and will be a two day one night event filled with games, tours, food, and more. The experience will surely not be one to be missed.
Schedule
Thursday June 20th:
- 4pm: Check-In at Abel/Sandoz Residence Hall
- 5-5:45pm: Welcome Session
- 6-7:30pm: Dinner(Abel/Sandoz Dinning Hall)
- 7:45pm-8:15pm: Meet the Recruitment Chairs
- 8:30-9:45pm: Activity at University Rec Center
- 10-12pm: Game Room/Movie Screening
- 12-12:30pm: Lights Out
Friday June 21th:
- 7-8:30am: Breakfast(Abel/Sandoz)
- 8:45-9am: Briefing
- 9:15-11:15: First Session of House Tours
- 11:30-1pm: Lunch
- 1:15-3:30pm: Second Session of Tours
- 4:30pm: Closing Ceremony
*Fraternity Houses will be open on Friday night for BBQ’s around 5:30pm.
Cost: $75.00
-Includes Room, 3 meals and Event T-Shirt
-Transportation can be provided for those flying into the Lincoln Airport
-*If staying Friday night an extra $20.00 will be assessed to pay for Room and Breakfast on Saturday.
Fraternities: All Fraternities will be participating and we recommend that participants research each fraternity by visiting the Greek Affairs website and clicking on the IFC tab and then the Chapters Link.
