2009 Graduate Student Appreciation Week: April 6-April 10
All Graduate, Professional and Post-Doctoral Students are invited to be entertained, to socialize and to relax during Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW). GSA will have a booth at the City Campus Union throughout the week. Click here for the flyer

- Graduate students, faculty and staff are invited to nominate an outstanding graduate student for the graduate student of the year award.

- All currently enrolled graduate students of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are invited to honor a faculty member or administrator whose dedication to graduate students and commitment to excellence in graduate teaching, advising, and mentoring have made a significant contribution to the quality of life and professional development of graduate students at the university. The nomination is open for all ranks.

- Monday, 4/6: East Campus Free BBQ (12:00 p.m.) [East Campus Union Lawn]
- Tuesday, 4/7: Free Bowling at East Campus (7:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday, 4/8 New Faculty Panel: Advice for Future Faculty (7:00 p.m.) Awards for Graduate Student and Faculty Member of the Year will be presented at this time. Light refreshments (i.e., cookies, coffee, tea) will be served. [City Campus Union Lawn]
- Thursday, 4/9: Trivia Night at Buzzard Billy's. (6:00 p.m.) The first 50 graduate students that can prove their graduate status (e.g., awful adviser email, program of studies, 6 inch thesis folder, etc.) will receive a free appetizer coupon.
- Friday, 4/10: Free Massages at the City Campus Rec Center (2:00 - 5:00 p.m.) You deserve a break. Come get your free massage.
- Friday, 4/10: 2nd Annual Faculty vs. Graduate Student Kickball Tournament (5:00) [Vine Street Fields]
- Friday, 4/10: Celebration at downtown BW3's following tournament.
