Academic Planning Committee

The Academic Planning Committee (APC) is a university-wide group responsible for formulating and recommending academic and planning goals and initiatives for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) in the areas of education (resident and extension), research, and service to the Faculty Senate, Colleges, and Chancellor. These goals are coordinated with the responsibilities assigned to UNL as part of the structure under the control of the President of the University of Nebraska and the Board of Regents.

Commencement and Honors Convocation Committee

The Commencement and Honors Convocations Committee shall be primarily responsible for coordinating plans for commencement and honors convocations.

Council on Inclusive Exellence & Diversity

The Council is intended to represent institutional leadership from colleges and primary units on campus, administrators whose responsibilities include diversity and inclusion, and representatives from key institutional groups. The Council is designed to serve as a communications channel between and across units and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion; a space for collective and organized thinking and action; a space to receive updates and share concerns or issues related to campus climate, and to identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation; and a hub to build capacity among leaders to advance our institutional prowess for inclusive excellence.

The Council shall have major responsibility for the encouragement and support of efforts to improve instruction and learning at all levels at UNL. The University Conduct Board is comprised of students and faculty. The University Conduct Board hears cases of alleged violations of the UNL Student Code of Conduct. The Board hears cases that range from behavioral misconduct, academic misconduct, Title IX, and cases involving student organizations.

Desired outcomes are a university-wide approach to anticipating, managing, and supporting the increasingly complex set of challenges that contemporary researchers face as they create, use, and maintain research data.
