Appointments
Please bring the following information with you to your appointment:
- UNL Student ID (Required)
- Health insurance card with information regarding health insurance status, which must include: name and address of insurance company; insurance subscriber number; insurance group number; and name of policy holder.
- Information regarding all medications you are currently taking and any other pertinent health care information.
In order to be seen at a definite time with little or no waiting, it is recommended that students schedule an appointment with the
appropriate department for non-emergency health care service.
To schedule an appointment with a primary care provider or specialist, please call 472-5000 during the hours of operation. Once an appointment is scheduled, it is recommended that you arrive 15-minutes prior to your appointment at patient services (near the main entrance off U Street).
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Dental Office schedule their own appointments. Call 472-7450 to schedule an appointment with CAPS or 472-7495 for a dental appointment.
If you cannot make your appointment, please call in advance to cancel. This will help you avoid a missed appointment charge. Any appointment in the clinic must be canceled two hours in advance to avoid charges. In the specialty clinic, CAPS, dental or physical therapy, your appointment must be canceled 24 hours in advance.
