The Radiology Department has state-of-the-art x-ray equipment. This includes computed radiography which produces digital images. A referral from a Health Center medical provider or your personal medical provider is required. Patients are x-rayed promptly by licensed Radiologic Technologists.

All x-rays are electronically transmitted to consulting Radiologists for interpretation. Exams performed at the UHC include:

• Chest
• Extremities
• Spines
• Headwork
• Abdominal

Special procedures such as CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds and mammograms, are not performed at the Health Center. If your medical provider orders a special procedure, the Radiology Department will schedule an appointment for you at a local facility.
