Husker Choices

We are a peer education group that provides UNL students with helpful information about alcohol. Our members are trained to deliver presentations on various alcohol-related subjects, like the effects of alcohol on women, acute alcohol poisoning, and alcohol laws and policies. We do other programs and campus campaigns, like our Social Norms Campaign complete with a prize patrol (keep an eye out for us and you can win $10 cash if you have our button on your backpack), National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, our booth at the Body Bazaar of Celebrating EveryBody Week, and the Safe Spring Break campaign.

Who is in Husker Choices?

We have about 30 members -- Greeks and non-Greek, athletes and non-athletes, and on & off campus residents. Three paid student coordinators are responsible for organizing and leading the group, along with two staff advisors from Alcohol and Drug Services. Interested in joining?
