EDAW is a national outreach campaign promoted by the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) (link to NEDA), a national non-profit organization. Eating Disorder Awareness Week (EDAW) is held during the last week of February each year. UNL began participating in this campaign during the 1995-1996 school year. The goal is to begin to make a difference on our campus by promoting and sustaining a healthy environment in which all students develop positive self-esteem and self-respect based on wellness principles.
