Sexuality Education eXchange (S.E.X.)
is the sexuality and sexual health education component of the University Health Center Community Health Education Department. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, accurate, current and inclusive sexuality and sexual health information and promotion to the UNL community.PERSUNL
(Peers Encouraging Responsible Sexuality at UNL) is the student involvement component of the program. Peer Sexuality Educators (PSEs) provide:- Presentations
- Assist with campus-wide programming
- Staff the HIV antibody testing site.
Located within the Health Education department, room 12 on the lower level of the University Health Center (UHC), S.E.X. and PERSUNL provide:
- Sexual Health Information
- Resource and Referral Information
- Presentations and literature on sexuality (including sexual orientation & gender identity)
- Diversity Information
- Ally materials (cards, magnets, information) and Ally Development Workshops
- Information and presentations on topics including contraception, sexually transmitted infections & relationship issues.
