This interdisciplinary minor draws on a variety of fields in the humanities and social sciences to support students' learning about the social and cultural contexts of health, illness and heath care.

The minor is of particular interest to students preparing for careers in a health-related profession, but it has much to offer any student who wishes to examine health and healing as an integral part of human experience.
