NCARD

Dear International Student,

One aspect of enrollment at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln is receiving a student ID card, known as the NCard. The NCard is the only card you'll need at UNL.

The NCard is designed to be your permanent photo identification card and does not expire. The NCard's activation is dependent upon your registration status which is electronically verified. Simply put, the NCard works on the first day of whatever semester or session you are registered for and stops working when your registration ends. If there is an interruption in your studies keep your NCard as it will start working when you resume taking classes.

The NCard permits access to privileges attached to student fees such as the Library, Campus Recreation Center, the Readership program and ticket discounts as well as door access to UNL buildings.

The NCard offers optional services like the NCard charge program which allows students to make purchases on campus using their NCard. The purchases appear on the student's monthly UNL Consolidated Bill from Student Account and can be view through WAM. UNL recently developed an exclusive partnership with Well Fargo Bank to offer students the ability to link their NCard to a Wells Fargo checking account. This allows students to use their NCard in Wells Fargo ATMs and to make PIN-based purchases off campus. Students are encouraged to read the information on our website prior to arriving on campus and obtaining the NCard. The NCard Office is located in the lower level of the Nebraska Union at 14 th and R Streets.
