Christa has worked with various aspects of study and travel abroad at University of Nebraska-Lincoln since her own study abroad experience at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn, Germany in 1972-73. Christa received her BS and MS degrees from UNL in German and Comparative Education with support work in Adult Education. Christa has traveled extensively in Europe having led winterim tours with groups ranging from age 16 to 76. Christa has also made site visits to exchange partners and study abroad sites in Mexico, Costa Rica, China, Germany, Spain and England. Christa is active in the NAFSA: Association of International Educators and has served as a board member of the Nebraskaland Council of Hosteling International.
