Am I eligible to apply?
The program is open to graduate and undergraduate students who have had at least one year of university-level study. A minimum grade point average of 2.75 is preferred. UNL graduate students may apply for graduate-level programs with the approval of Graduate Studies and their graduate committees. Nominations for placement are made to ISEP following review of applications.
When should I apply?
The application deadline is January 15 for programs beginning in the Fall semester. Spring semester applications are accepted from February 1 until October 1. Spring semester placements are made as applications are submitted until all places are filled.
How much will it cost?
An ISEP semester exchange program costs $8,419 for residents and $13,868 for nonresidents (2008-2009). An ISEP year-long exchange program costs $15,961 for Nebraska residents; $26,858 for nonresidents. This includes instructional costs and room and board. Not included are insurance ($48/month), transportation, books, and personal expenses. ISEP-Direct options are available at varying costs posted on www.isep.org.

What else will I need?
Passport pictures; passport and visa information; books and materials about living, traveling, and working abroad are available in the International Affairs resource center at 420 University Terrace, 472-5358.
