New Zealand's awe inspiring landscapes, lush forests, amazing wildlife and pleasant climate make it a haven for many outdoor activities, and a great place to unwind. New Zealand society is diverse, sophisticated, and multicultural; the honesty, friendliness, and openness of Kiwis will impress you. The great advantage of New Zealand is all of its diverse physical, cultural, and artistic landscapes are in close proximity to one another. New Zealand's agriculture is as diverse as its landscape and people. New Zealand grows a variety of crops from tropical fruit to lumber; it is one of the major suppliers of fresh fruit to the Northern hemisphere during the winter months. New Zealand's livestock industry consists primarily of beef, dairy, sheep and deer production with a majority of the commodities being exported.
Students will have the opportunity to tour a variety of agricultural enterprises and this will have a first hand experience of these operations. In addition, they will be able to explore the culture and geography of New Zealand.
